The Nexus SS

Apple released their iPhone 4s yesterday, to much disappointment to most of the tech community, and even Apple Phanboys,

I was super nervous leading up to and during the keynote speech, waiting to Apple to "oooo" and "ahhh" consumers and the media as they always do.

Most everybody was expecting Apple to announce two phones yesterday, the iPhone 4s was expected, the an iPhone 5 was was hopeful.

When Apple uttered the words "4s" I was like "ok, two phones, Apple is going to start playing the tech game."

When Apple announced the pricing starting at $199, my jaw dropped, I couldn't believe they had just released the same phone, 16 months after the first one, with some upgrades.   What took so long?

If Google were to do that, they would release their Nexus S again, they could call it the Nexus SS.  The upgrades from the original Nexus S, to be in-line with the iPhone 4s would be:

Dual core processor
Better camera
Higher res screen

That about sums it up.    If Google announced a Nexus SS with those specs, I believe it would be on par with the iPhone 4s.   All the important specs and apps Android already has.

Apple is playing catchup and most of the tech world agrees with me.
